Tuzik AI for iOS · Last updated 30 August 2026

Tuzik AI is an app for children. We built it with one rule: collect as little as possible, keep what we do collect on the device, and never sell anything to anybody. This page says exactly what leaves the phone, where it goes, and how to erase it.

Who we are

Tuzik AI is an independent app made by a parent. There is no company data team and no advertising business behind it. For any question about this policy, write to genue.luben@gmail.com.

There is no account

Tuzik AI has no sign-up, no login, no password, and no email address for the child. We do not know your name, your child's name, or your location. The app creates one random identifier on first launch. This identifier is a string of random characters. It has no link to your name or your email address. It exists so that a purchase you make stays attached to your install, and so that the advert measurement described below counts one install once.

What stays on the device

These items are written to the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad. They never go to a Tuzik AI server.

What leaves the device, and why

Tuzik AI is a live voice app. To answer a child, the voice must travel to a model and the answer must travel back. Here is every trip:

Data Goes to Purpose
Microphone audio during a session LiveKit (real-time transport) and Google Gemini To hear the child and speak back in the same moment
Camera frames, when the child opens the camera activity Google Gemini and fal.ai To look at a drawing, to play the movement game, and to turn a drawing into a picture
Keepsake photos the child chooses to take fal.ai storage To store the picture and show it in the app gallery
Memory facts and the session language The Tuzik AI voice agent To greet the child by name and continue yesterday's story
The random install identifier and the purchase receipt Apple and RevenueCat To record what you bought and to restore it on a new device
App opens, the first purchase, the install identifier, and Apple's advertising identifier when you allow it AppsFlyer To know which advertisement brought you to Tuzik, so we spend on the ones that work

Audio and video during a session are processed as they arrive. Tuzik AI does not record the session to a file and does not keep a copy of the audio. Pictures are different: a keepsake photo is stored, because the point of it is to look at it again later.

How we measure our own adverts

Tuzik AI is advertised, and we need to know which advertisement worked. That measurement runs through AppsFlyer, a company that counts installs for app makers. It receives the events in the last row of the table above: that the app was opened, that a first purchase happened, and the random install identifier. It never receives anything your child says, draws, or photographs.

On first launch iOS asks you a question that Apple words as permission to track. It is asked because this measurement can use Apple's advertising identifier, a number iOS gives to apps for exactly this purpose. If you say no, the identifier is not used, and the measurement falls back to counting the install with no identifier from Apple. Either answer leaves the app the same: your child sees no advertisement inside Tuzik, and nothing about your child is used to choose one.

You can change the answer at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Who we do not send data to

Children

Tuzik AI is designed for a child to use and for a parent to control. The app asks for no personal detail about the child. Anything the child says to the assistant is stored on the device only. Purchases are placed behind a parent screen, and the assistant never asks a child to buy anything — it asks the child to fetch a parent.

We follow the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you believe your child gave us information you want removed, write to genue.luben@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Permissions the app asks for

How to delete everything

Open Settings inside the app and use Reset all data. This erases the memory file, the transcripts, and the settings. Deleting the app from the device removes the same data. Purchases stay with your Apple Account, so you can restore them.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold, ask for a copy, and ask us to delete it. Because there is no account, the honest answer is usually that we hold nothing that identifies you. Write to genue.luben@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts to handle data in a new way, we update this page and change the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
